To my loyal Smartt Takes readers: thank you. Thank you for bearing with my inconsistent posting as I navigated the arduous process of managing this newsletter alongside my personal, professional, and academic life. Thank you for ignoring my typos. Most importantly, thank you for putting your trust in me to deliver objective, factual news about one of the most polarizing subjects out there. Let me preface this by saying, this is not a goodbye, it’s a reintroduction. I will continue to write about electoral politics. I’m also going to write about other topics I’ve become just as passionate about and am eager to share that information. More on that below.
