Emergency Issue Bc Omg the Girls Are Fighting!
Forget Musk vs. Zuck, it's looking like Trump v. Elon might be in the ring. A literal depiction of money vs politics
Someone release the footage of what’s been happening in the White House since Elon departed last week because oh my goodness, this bromance has turned into a full-blown family feud!
Let’s break it down:
foreshadowing
Friday: Trump & Elon hold press conference, the day of Elon’s departure they jointly announced last Wednesday. All seems well, Trump even gives Elon a special key to commemorate his time. Congress is out this week (important)
Monday: Elon expresses reservations about Trump’s big, beautiful bill that the House of Representatives had passed before Memorial Day weekend (last week…I know). He voices concerns about its fiscal implications and how it could reverse DOGE’s work
Tuesday: Elon further lambasts the bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination.” He urges people to vote against it. Trump doesn’t say much about the response, but is privately (reportedly) irked. Axios issues report saying that Trump and Musk are still friends/allies, but that Elon was “butt hurt” about Trump’s decision not to extend his government employee status.
He was also apparently frustrated that (1) the budget bill cuts the electric vehicle (EV) tax credit; (2) the Federal Aviations Administration was not using Starlink for national air traffic control; and (3) Trump withdrew the nomination of Jared Isaacman, a Musk ally, to be NASA administrator.Wednesday: Elon takes to X to tell his followers to “KILL THE BILL.” Trump still doesn’t say anything publicly, but privately, Republicans are pissed about Elon’s public opposition. (Remember, this is the man who spent $288 million on Republicans in the 2024 election.) House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly tried to call Elon, but Musk screened the call.
Thursday (TODAY): Just like Tesla’s stock, we are in full blown free fall. Responding to a reporter, Trump says that he was surprised about Musk’s opposition to the bill, and that he didn’t need Musk’s support to win. Said he and Elon had a great relationship and questioned why Elon didn’t cover up his black eye last week. He took to Truth Social saying that he didn’t need Elon to “win Pennsylvania” and that Elon was only mad because of the ending of the EV tax credits. Said Elon went “CRAZY” after Trump asked him to leave.
Elon then responds that Democrats would prevailed in the election without him, and that Trump was “ungrateful.” Elon takes to X asking whether it’s time to start a new political party (yes, but not with him in charge plz)
As lawmakers are debating the budget bill (and watching the real-time fight of money (Elon) vs politics (Trump), Elon tweets that Trump will only be around for another 3.5 years a president, but that Elon will be around for another 40+ years.
The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) issues report estimating that the budget bill will add $2.4 trillion to the deficit.
Trump suggests cutting all of Elon’s government subsidies and contracts as a way to save money. “I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it!" Said Trump.
Musk then says that “Trump is in the Epstein files” (!!!!!) and that’s why the government won’t release the report. Democrats are now having a fielddd day demanding the report be released. Musk is now sharing old footage of Trump & Epstein
Then the Bannon(s) of our existence, Steve and Ye, step in. Ye calls for Trump and Musk to stop fighting— “Bros nooooo.” While Steve says that he’s recommending all of Musks’s federal contracts be cut, and that Musk be heavily investigated/deported.
Musk says:
he is now decommissioning SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft, part America’s space program used to service International Space Station, immediately.
Trump should be impeached (!), and Vance should take his place.
The Trump tariffs will cause a recession in the second half of this year (!)
New York Times reports that Trump’s advisers are “preparing to force allies of both men to choose sides in the escalating fight.”
What happens next? Again, this is a literal depiction of money (Elon) vs politics (Trump), which usually go hand in hand.
The question is which will prevail? Elon reportedly still plans to donate $100 million towards Trump’s political operation, but those funds have yet to be disbursed. Trump’s new crypto ventures, however, have made him ~$1 billion.
We’ll have to wait and see on the Epstein report. If Trump is in it, they’ll start lambasting Elon and accuse him of lying/being crazy/being on drugs. If he’s not, they’ll release the report. Time will tell.
Alright, there’s a break in the fighting, and my dear sister is demanding I post this, so here we go! We’ll update this with any other secrets revealed as necessary.
You just know that Trump is gonna go apesh*t on Truth Social later (definitely not X). Kinda can’t wait. Adios!
